Why does it look weird? I mean at the far right there's a red blank space.How do i get rid of it?

Hi

The red is the background color of the banner section. Do get rid of this you can either set the background-color in the CSS to transparent/color you want or you can set the background-image to repeat-x.

I think i messed up my header and banner section,we are suppose to put the url into the header section right? Then what do you mean by get rid of the background colour in the banner section? Thanks in advance.

Ah I see you already got the header background color to transparent. Now if you want the background to tile, simply replace the #header section with

Some skins have a header and a banner, some skins only have a header...

Right now, what I see is your image not wide enough to fill the space of the header. Therefor you see extra space to the right of the image. Unless you can get a wider image, that's how it will look

How wide must my image be so that it will not repeat?

It varies by the viewers screen resolution. Some may be viewing your page with a 1024x768 screen res while others ( like me ) can be viewing it with a resolution of 1440x900 or larger.
