Discuss your favorite Metal bands (not so much core). Whether it is At The Gates, or Zanaria. Anything from more traditional thrash to polka black metal ( but not limited to).

Um, not so much core? I guess that would then exclude bands such as The Devil Wears Prada, Gwen Stacy, As I Lay Dying, etc. *sigh*

Tool, Converge, Mastodon, Isis, Neurosis, Dillinger Escape Plan, Rainbow, Black Sabbath / Heaven & Hell, Opeth, Killing Joke, Deftones, Strapping Young Lad, At the Gates, The Haunted, Asva, My Dying Bride...

A lot of bands I could have listed fall too far into "Rock" of "Prog" or "Punk", so I didn't list them.
