Is there any way we can recommend artwork for a feature?

Maybe some sort of forum or button or something?

If not possibly set up a couple general members to do it to take a little load off of you guys?

Been browsing around today and found some great pieces of work that I'd like to recommend as dare I use a dA term, but " Daily Feature " *gag* but dunno what I'd do to get that accomplished. Not to mention the flurry of activity after the official launch we have tons of great new artists, and potential "up and comings".

Would be cool to have something like that, but there would have to be some sort of limit on how many pieces could be featured a day and make sure no ones playing favourites or anything like that so theres an equal chance of getting featured.

But yeah just something to think about while you guys are thinking about the 350 million other things that need to be done.

And while I'm on the thought:

I hereby request that Monday, February 9, 2009 - The Official Launch date of Artician - shall never be refurred to with out the use of " Greatest day ever " and at least 3 dancing/party emoticons when posting in the forums from here on out.

This is a great idea, thanks for bringing it up. I think it has been mentioned before, but we always need a good reminder. We will see if there could be a way to do so.

I know that if we let members recommend feature work, it will just get out of hand because eventually we will get so many. We may need a "Scout" team to be on the lookout for good submissions. This is something I think that will work well.

And lol at your finishing statement

Yes, definitively a feature that should be added.
And a "scout-team" or something of that kind would probably work out best.

I would assume the Artician administrators.

deviantART has a good way of featuring submissions, except for you actually have to message someone about featuring it rather than clicking a button or something on the page of the actual artwork. Also, I think the quality of deviantART's features are really low sometimes.. PLEASE don't do that smile.gif

Someone that understands art well and can compare the progress of artician overall artwork quality, which is online on a daily basis. By online I mean being active on the community (posting, commenting, giving constructive critism, helping others etc...) those persons I feel are fit to be scouters.

As artician is growing more different forms of art is arising that goes for quality as well so we need people that can notice that.

Some good points on this thread.
