I like the look of this place... it's a little buggy... but then it's new... it certainly has promise. I'm not upping sticks and leaving deviantArt, I've given that place 8 years of my life, but I'm more than wiling to give this place a shot at rinking my nerb. Besides, after the slagging this place seems to be getting from certain quarters, it seems that the least I can do is come see for myself. I have, and it's mostly underserved, sour grapes I think it's called.

I'd like to see this site develop into something that isn't necessarily regarded as a deviantArt alternative, but more of an entity in it's own right... it certainly seems to be going in that direction.

Anyhoo, the dA 'leech' is a cool idea. That bought you credits. Don't spoil it.

It's great to see you here. I don't see this site as an "alternative" to dA at all. It's not like da in any way and I like that a lot and I hope that it won't even try and become like dA. I'm not jumping ship either, I wanted something new, refreshing and less bs lol

So far it's been a great place, it certainly has a lot of promise.

I'm sure the "certain quarters" are letting the shit fly right about now, but you know what, you're right- this isn't dA, isn't supposed to BE dA,
it's Artician. All art sites have similarities but this is where I'm most comfy right now. The developers are cool, and yeah, it's buggy but fuck, so
is dA and they certainly aren't new.

regardless- very glad you're here. You are one of my favorite artists bar none.

Well, I plan on sticking around... who knows, they may end up with a forum set that isn't populated by quasi-trolls I'd been considering throttling back on dA for a while, and here it seems may well be my excuse. I think I'm probably there more now for my friends than the site as a whole... miscats are getting me down something chronic, and so is the management standard with respect to certain galleries... so are quite a few of the resident attitudes truth be told.

I like that the forums here are troll free...which is why I actually comment on them now lol As long as the hate bandwagon mentality and childish drivel stays away I will be perfectly happy here : )

uhm...yeah, about that coffee thing....uhm, the parcel service I was using epically failed and as you can see the coffee never arrived.
Was also having issues with the delivery guys from Columbia *shakeshead*
