I had IE7 - I figured it was time to run Windows Update (I know - you can yell at me later) - I installed IE8 through there.
I opened up artician.com and tried to import some more work from deviantArt.
Which actually worked, score 1 for IE8.
Then I tried to update the portfolio...I tried altering descriptions...changing tags...etc.
Artician said it was saving fine.
I noticed Artician's notification lines were not going away, and clicking on the X wouldn't make them go away.
Lo and behold the dreaded Warning sign at the left corner of IE saying that Javascript errors have occured.

None of the changes I had been making saved at all.

So I am worried that the errors FF is plaguing me with are now present in IE8.
It's a bit of a stretch - but with more testing later I can figure that out.

I will have to use IE6 (using an emulator) to visit artician.com if this is the case.
Or go back to IE7 - which may work better.
Gawd I hate using IE...

Once again I am boggled as to how you could be having these issues. They simply don't make sense, I am actually get a bit frustrated because we test and use artician in so many different environments. Why would IE8 generate Javascript errors, and IE7 / IE6 don't. All this just doesn't make sense to me.

Can you paste the JS errors that you see in IE8

Do you have problems with any other websites?? wacko.gif

Sorry for the frustration. I understand that it doesn't make sense - which is why it vexes me so.
No I have no problems using facebook, myspace, deviantart, linkedin, google docs, etc.

Here are the two errors I get JUST from going to the manage portfolio page in IE8:
