Impressive

This looks like a very impressive site. good job to all involved in this. May I know what software was used? Just curious to know. Or did you code this from scratch and it all belongs to you? I noticed we have the ability to have some custom features like changing the css and the layout. Are these options going to still be available in the future? One last thing: How do I start a group? Thank you

Groups are still unavailable to the public, though they shall be arriving in the very near future, Right now only staff can really setup groups, so long as they know how.
changing the css and layout will be available in the future, I think. They will probably restrict a few things, I heard the development team speaking about restricting the top task bar where you can access the "artician , submit, control panel" etc. As people have started to alter the artician logo, Which isn't intended. Apart from that, they'll probably continue to addon to the modules etc.

Perhaps, you could make it so that the presence of the logo is a must. Like you cannot alter that variable. Similar to the advertisement block module. Is that a possibility? I cannot wait for the groups. I have a group on DA and I can't wait to make it here. Can we still edit the background image of the top task bar? Thanks for the info. Anyway I can help out?

You can do anything you want to the CSS as long as the network bar stays in it's entirety. Right now I believe you can change it but we will be fixing that soon with !important tags and such.
