I am not much of a movie watcher, and currently I am broke so I cannot afford the movie theater, and renting movies is something my girlfriend and I can do on the cheap. So do you guys and gals know of any movies that are funny, action, or make her melt into my arms kinda movies. I don't mind watching chick flicks either no-homo I kinda liked The Notebook. Here is the only kind of movies I do not want and that is stupid humor, Stupid humor can be found in movies like:
Talladega Nights Superbad Dodgeball Anchorman and so on....

Live Free or Die Hard is a good one, but seriously if you have ten bucks go head a theatre and watch Cloverfield, made think about the allusion to my life

I saw Cloverfield last night, I got into the movies for free so it fit my wallet. The movie was OK not worth watching it again though.

English films are the best ones, and hollywood is stupid against the english, always makes us the bad guys, such as in National Treasure, which I do believe is a good film, as well as Nation Treasure: Book of Secrets
Phone Booth The Descent Saw I, II, III (IV wasn't that great, watchable only once) Identity Resident Evil (All three)
Yea, as you can see I'm mostly into horrors.
Edit:
Also Thirteen is a good film, but you kinda need to be in a certain mood to enjoy it I guess.
It's based on the real life of the writer when she was 13 years old, a drama, and a very emotional film with such a high impact on life.
"A thirteen-year-old girl's relationship with her mother is put to the test as she discovers drugs, sex, and petty crime in the company of her cool but troubled best friend."
"It is an autobiographical film based on Reed's experiences as a thirteen-year-old (Evan Rachel Wood) and those around her in the same age group. The film's script, written in six days, originally called for a comedic tone.[1]
The film caused controversy upon its release, dealing with topics such as underage sexual behavior (the teenagers involved in it are as young as 13) and drug and alcohol use, and because of this, was compared to similar films such as Kids and The Basketball Diaries."
I still need to watch that Kids film, my friend has seen it and highly recommends it.

I actually saw all of them except for The Science of Sleep. Very nice list u've got there. All good movies, though I thought that The Island and The Illusionist were a bit overrated, but definitely watchable.
Just finished watching Across the Universe, great musical! Especially if you like The Beatles.

That's actually a great list. I've been wanting to see a lot of those movies for quite awhile now, just haven't gotten around to it. I'm the biggest movie buff who actually doesn't watch movies you'll ever meet, haha.
