Opinions?

yea so i was really bored today so i made a wallpaper.

I think its boring and some what unorganized, but it was a quicky.

so what do you think of it?

In composition, I love the way the two woman are connected, though the pictures are different sizes, it doesn't matter. I don't like the lower part of the picture, it might be a bit too unfocused at the right lower corner. It gives an idea of a space far far away when the left lower corner is sharp and near to the watcher. The texture in the lower part I like very much only the space confuses.

Looks pretty good man. only one minor crit from me and it goes back to the other topic when I was talking about focus:

If there was one extremely useful tidbit of advice that I got from my prof was "These elements here are competing... one has to drive and one has to be in the backseat." What I mean specifically is the two women: both nice pics, but they're kinda competing for attention and not allowing a true focus to be had. If I were you (I'm not but let's just play along for a sec ) I would simply reduce the opacity on the woman on the right or do something to her that would make her more subdued. Normally I'd say the lady on the right should be the focus since the lighting is more rich and descriptive, but she's set behind the one on the left... and reducing the opacity of the one on the left doesn't make much sense to me.

That was quite a long ramble for such a small point

thanks alot again. And yes now that youve mentioned it I do see what you mean. They are competing for attention. Maybe a very slight slight blur and a bit lower opacity might show the depth that I would need.. I dont know alot about art, I do what ive always done in math. Trial and error has gotten me threw math forever since the day i graduated highschool haha. (and obviously all threw highschool) and so when it comes to art its the same thing. Everything i make is trial and error and eventually i'll learn enough to make something really well done. But until that day I need you ..
