Spam???

I just tried leaving a friend a message on her page with a link from my own artician submission and I got a comment spam popup?

"Artician has detected that the comment below is believed to be spam. If you are sure that this comment is not spam, you can easily resolve this issue by letting us know. Click here to flag this comment as Not Spam"

uhm so links to submissions are spam now? I am very lost and confused:(

Apology's for the confusion you have just had, Our filter systems are incredibly sensitive in terms of what it identifies as spam, And what it does not. I believe that we are working on looking into getting a new Filter system developed in the future.

links to submissions are not perceived as spam, Only the filter sees it like that, Your comment had contained just a few words and then a link (that's what the Filter would of seen it as), Which would of popped up "I think this is spam."

Our spam detection system is somewhat new. It is still learning what is spam and what is not.

When something gets marked as spam(like your comment) artician staff members are notified and if we find that it is not spam we un-mark it as spam. This will post your comment, and let our spam system know in the future that a comment like this is not spam.
