Pretty simple.

What do you do when the world gets on your nerves?

Sleep. I can't sleep if I'm angry though, so I'd need to calm down by just waiting it off... then going to sleep.

Yeah, it's the waiting that sucks.

I just go to my room for a bit, play some video games and relax, then dive back in to stressland.

3d. Or code if I'm not too angry. So I may be slightly lame.

If all else fails, make like a 4yo and have a tantrum tongue.gif

Take a long walk, take a shower, put on relaxing music, meditate, do housework, do something tedious like organise my photography or my bookcases.

Not all at once. :!

Really hot showers are my favorite remedy for just about anything, but especially stress.

Warm drinks, like coffee or tea, help me relax. So does cleaning. And if it's really bad, sometimes crying makes for a great release.

I have two pools, so I usually hit the water if I am stressed, put some music on and then swim around for a hour or so.

I try steer clear of stress al together by not sweating the small stuff and giving all I have when in comes to the big stuff. This way I know that there is nothing to really worry about, so I don't biggrin.gif

IMHO, that's great in theory but sinks in reality. Some things are unavoidable.

Hey, it works for me. tongue.gif

Yeah, some things are unavoidable. This is where I implement my favourite measure to avoid stress. I stop giving a crap. LOL Occasionally frowned upon, but most of the time things pass, and you realize that it wasn't such a big deal anyhow.

It sounds weird, but I make to-do lists of all the stuff that I need to get done, because it's usually the stuff that stresses me out. But then I procrastinate on actually DOING anything, so mostly I end up cooking or watching movies.

I do the same thing. Cleaning sometimes helps because mess stresses me out. And sleeping is always a great option.

Call me a nerd, but I go on to my computer when I'm stressed (maybe you could tell, seeing as whenever I post in the mood topic, I always say "stressed" tongue.gif).

Mess with my music or go to the shooting range. Nothing like squeezing off a few .223 rounds into inanimate objects.
