So Lets see blogging isn't really my thing.. To let people into my mind lol but Ill keep it light and hope that you can keep up ....

I've been spending more time working on my photography... For awhile there I was neglecting it =( But this week I tried to keep my cam on my side at all times so I have a bunch of editing to do and uploading and all of that fancy foot work. By doing so lately I think I have finally figured more of what im about with my work and I am getting the swing of what I really wanna see and want Just in general.

The other thing is I really want to get more work up so maybe I can get the full confidence I require to succeed in life ? lol

My goal is to get some of my OWN PAID gigs next year

and im not dreaming to huge here Just some Sr pix and maybe a wedding or something .. I don't know but yeah that's my banter.. you don't have to read this nonsense ever again if you dont like

...this journal stuff is addictive, even though folks can read it, it makes me feel better. Anyhow, I got some more work done today on this project I just recently started. The creative juices are flowing and it feels like I have a little wind pushing my sail. so I'm gonna ride until the wheels fall...off?

...right. like I was saying. Just tackled some recent hurdles and I would like to thank those that I reached out to for support and actually gave me the time of day. Your friendship means a lot to me, and now I feel like I can do what it is I do best. Even if knowing that all I have is a small close-knit circle of friends? I'm running with my own trusted school of fish. But right now, this fish has got to sleep. Goodnight yall.

P.S.: I recently started writing some poetry/rhymes, but I always looked negatively upon it because of the type of stigma that goes along with the muse. I'm overcoming this fear because I've found it makes me happy. And now I know that if you do what you love, or even what makes you happy, chances are there will be less opportunity to become lost in negative emotions. This may or may not be true, but that's how I feel, and the only way I can articulate it with words.

A Photoshop magazine wants to publish my work in their Reader's Gallery Submission in issue 61 coming out in September 10th! I sent them three of my favourite creations and the editor emailed me - as you can see above. I never used FTP before so I didn't really know what I was doing. I downloaded the free trial of Fetch and I sent it to the company's FTP. I sent the editor an email to ask her if she received my folder or not. Then she replied me! Look!

I can't wait to buy the issue!

Hey there!

I'm a high-school student with interests ranging from comics to...well,let's just say that I'm pretty much your average geeky art-girl with some un-healthy intersts in cartoon-fandom = D

Anyways,somehow I've managed to find this site here,and I'm hoping to turn it into something more fun than all my earlier attempts at art-showing,blogging and social networking(like,err...someting more spontaneous...or something like that)

Mostly I think I'd just like to show around some of my own more finished and proffesional-like art-work.And not so much fanart this time.

I have always looked up to many artists.. always fascinated and awed by the work of others.. in me, I continue to express myself, but somehow.. I am always left wondering how to find the better artwork in me.. My work still is beyond comparison.. but in me I strive to give out myself to the awareness of all, showing my own work.. though I am still belittled by my own self.. My journey brought to roads unexplored and still I decide to take the walk. Hoping someday.. "I can be just like you, while I can be myself."

1. I love change. I change so much because I don't want to conform to the people in society.

What kind of seagull are you? by Kami

My life is the ocean... and I am just one of the seagulls floating on the surface. Being thrown from one side to another, sometimes sinking and sometimes rising to the surface, up and down... up and down.

I heard a seagull say once, that it's so disconcerting, since you never know what happens next, and every time you think you have reached a safe spot a new wave comes and sinks you completely. Yet they don't see the beauty....the wonderful dance, a permanent tango with the new wave, each one with his own rhythm.

Dancing with and in the water, feeling the rush of the coming storm or the peaceful light of the daybreak...

Watching the night sky and wondering how would it be to float in space...Does a star feel the same as we do? Are they dancing also?

When you live your life on the ocean there is no safety, no rock you can cling to for long.

I don't know how it happens, but sometimes, when I am most tired, I see a rock or a shore just perfect for resting. Like the one I am sitting on now, so I can tell you this story. You'd think this is a blessings, wouldn't you? Yet it is such a dangerous illusion. You learn quickly that the first powerful wind will throw you back in the steep waves.

I've known seagulls that have climbed high on such rocks and wouldn't give them up for anything in the world, and seagulls that learned how to fly and took to the air.

The rock seagulls even gave up feeding for the promised assurance and safety they believed it offered. With time, you could see arthritis settle in, probably from the coldness of the rock or their lack of movement. I felt sorry watching them lose their gift of swimming and seeing their sad yet confident expression.

Then unavoidably, sooner rather than later ...the storm hits and washes most of them back in the raging ocean. Sometimes they manage to use their withered limbs well enough, sometimes not...

Oh, but let's get to the more cheerful story. The wind seagulls I was telling you about, say flying is so much better. They say you can see further away and that everything is so much clearer from up in the sky. I still see them dancing in the air as they did in the waves of the ocean, and they still come down, from time to time, to feed and swim with us. I like them... they seem so serene and peaceful, yet alert and energetic. They seem to know that everything you will ever need you find inside yourself.

Ah, but the time has come for me to go. I will leave my rock and hope you will join me.

I feel we will have a peaceful waltz night tonight, and who knows... maybe one of these days we will spread our wings and embrace the sunlight...
