Hey people, I'm alive. It's been an emotional roller coaster but things seem to be lighting up for me. Now halfway through third year, I've decided I needed to do what makes me happy, and animation is not one of them. So, next year I'm thinking of taking art courses to work up my portfolio and start from there. From scratch. I've come to personal inner revelations during this college experience, good and bad, and need to straighten my life and stay focus on what is important in my life, not someone elses.

Sorry guys, this is one of the only ways for me to express myself better and do what I love. Start over in the new year, take a deep breath, and draw and paint away. Something I grew up doing and deep in from my heart.

I love the 3D visuals and effects and lighting and such; that's an option for me too.

But this way I feel more...freedom.

Uploaded a bunch of older art that I was missing from my fan art sets that I had posted up here 3 years ago. Thought I would complete those sets even though I think the drawings are old and not so great... newer stuff should be inbound soon, though a lot of it is transparent pngs, and atician seems to hate making nice thumbnails for transparent PNGs ;_;

Still got a whole bunch of stuff to upload here, haven't even come close to my original art and comic pages. Ah well... all things come in due time I suppose.

I apologize again to anyone watching me and every one on artician for the flood of chapters, it's done though and everything's caught up. Now the updates to each series will not be so intrusive... unless I forget to keep up with posting my stuff on artician again, though I will do my best to avoid that.

Next we have the load of artwork that I have not uploaded here yet...

Hopefully this will not be as bad...

Darn it... noticed that chapter 9, 10 and 11 for 'Princess of Silver Sands' didn't upload right, as they were too long and got cut off before the end.

Chopped them up into 'part 1' and 'part 2' so they would fit.

I'm trying to get all of literature work up here before I get into uploading all my drawings, and that's going to be a lot >< As there are 3 series to upload. So yeah, I apologize in advance for the mass amounts of uploads this is going to give my watchers, but I would like to upload these so that I can be caught up here like I am on my website and other art/writing sites, so that when I update with a new chapter I can release it to all places instead of just a few.

For those wondering what to expect (at least for what I have current to this post)

Princess of Silver Sands - 81 chapters (12 uploaded so far)

Newlyweds Next-Door - 26 chapters

Raven Wolf - 48 chapters

Zimiko Knights - 2 chapters

And this isn't taking into account the chapters that will apparently need to be split into two parts. Again, sorry for the spam this is gonna make for my watchers, especially the ones that follow me for my drawings and not my writing. I promise those will be uploaded soon after I'm done all of these.

Yeah... been forever since I've been here... boy do I have a lot of stuff to upload... prepare for mass spam...

Where have I been? Well that would be a big combination of health issues, being in the hospital, conventions, mmo addictions, and spending waaaaay too much time with my ps3 clan.

Hopefully I can get my stuff here up and running smoothly again... damn do I have a lot to do...

I made a new banner for my page and I have to say I like it quite a bit. I've gotten positive feedback from other people.

In other news? Working on some Edgar Allen Poe "stamps" for my painting technique class. I'm excited to post them up here, I'm quite proud of most of them. We're tracing them onto presentation board and painting on Monday. I'm going to scan/take photo of the work before and after the paint. I want to get better at my coloring skills in Photoshop. So yeah, I've been trying to improve and improving I am.

Okay, so you guys all know that petsite I joined a month ago? I quit it yesterday. I'm disgusted with the fact that I let go on my art for some virtual pet game which already burned off more than half of my summer vacation that I could've spent drawing.

I'm going to keep this blog post concise because I know you guys don't like reading all too much but don't do what I did, don't waste your time on a time waster because nothing good will never come out of it.

I'm really looking forward to see some more great art on the site 8D

Oh and I got a blog, just to discover my writing side also.

So pretty soon my weekday schedule is going to be getting a little hectic. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to draw. But the only days I'll really be able to post any new work is Sunday and Saturday, and even then I might be working some Security gigs with my new friends at "Roadhouse." So... if you are at all interested in my artwork and are wondering when the next piece will be coming just keep checkin' in. I'll be trying to poke my head in as often as possible. And for Sal, I do plan to finish the commission. My available time is just taking a dip into the red right now. Sorry man. Just know I'm still workin' on it.

i got kicked out of that band for being more attractive than the singer. and i've since had a number of other gigs, started selling more jewelry, been modeling and getting paid work from that, more tattoos, painting mannequins, moved out of my mothers house again but this time sans roommates.

and today i adopted a bunny.

I'm heading into my second semester mid-terms already. Finally, some of the projects are starting to get creative, so I have posted one already and will have some new things to upload soon. Hoping to keep a steady flow of submissions for the next little while. For a while there we thought the college teachers were going to be striking but it seems like we're going to finish the semester as planned...

Just so anybody knows, I'm available to illustrate children's books, or magazines, whatever you would like.

It seems like what's popular is fantasy, and I've been approached to illustrate a fantasy book, but I turned it down. It is just not true to who I am. I've never been interested in fantasy, and in fact am rather repelled by magic arts.

I am interested in the quirky and whimsical. The fantasmagorical.

I suppose one day I will write my own books, but I need to percolate for a while yet. In psychology I learned that one's creative peak is at age 40, I've never forgotten that.

So I haven't got much to say, which is frustrating me. Things have sort of been at a standstill as far as my life moving forward, and it seems like no matter how many trips or activities I do, they seem like nothing when I'm just waiting for my job to work out and to move out.

It seems my head flat out refuses to work these days. I finished my 2nd year at Uni over a month ago and when I finished I told myself that I'd work on developing my personal style over the summer. I knew this was something that would require a lot of work, many sketchbooks and probably a few tantrums...so far I've bought a guitar and watched TV.

I love drawing, sketching and all that, and I've sat down with a sketchbook give or take everyday and absolutely nothings come out. I think it's like my tutor says: Ive got 'blank paper syndrome'...or something like that, you know, when you just stare at a piece of paper for ages and nothing come to you to draw. It's seriously frustrating me, especially as I know I have to step up a gear for my final year in September.

How do you find the inspiration for the things you do? The motivation to actually get a project going? As yet I'm stuck at thinking of a topic, so I'll probably be screwed when it comes to my Self Initiated Study next year, not to mention my dissertation that I'm supposed to be researching over summer.

I cleaned out some of my works that I didn't like.

That actually puts me down to 1 web site submission...so I need to fix that.

I did submit quite a few logos.

They are for myself and they are just my attempts at creating a decent logo.

Half practice - half serious.

I plan on submitting as much work as possible over the next few weeks.

So, obviously, I'm new here. As anyone could probably tell from a quick glance at my gallery, I'm a rhyming poet, maybe even a prodigal one. I've always loved wordplay from a young age, and saw things such as rhyming and alliteration, which I have always wanted to try, fun and akin to puzzles. That said, I dearly hope that you stick around to see my progress.

I am getting closer to a decent version of my website layout and once I have that completed I will re-customize my profile to match it.

The convention season kicked off a couple months ago. I made a good profit with Katsucon thanks to my agents in the East coast, but the subsequent conventions haven't been so. With this terrible economy, I can't really tell if it's because of my work itself or the lack of money my target audience has. Maybe, because of the economy, people are becoming more selective of the work they buy, and my work just does not fit into their category?

Well, that brings into my current situation of bettering myself and my work. I must. find. time. to draw a little bit every single day. I am trying. It's hard to do with a full-time job and a husband. With the weekend, I'm usually doing chores around the house and/or entertaining friends and family whom I don't see all the time.

Does anyone feel like they're in this situation? Is it fair for me to tell my husband, my family and my friends to back off a little bit- I'm trying to paint?

EDIT 2.0:: So, I was offered a job a few days after this edit. Yeah.... I spent all of this time trying to get all the paperwork done to get hired. I'm there now. Plus I have a new apartment to get moved into and a new car to find a loan to buy. So, I've been super busy. I will soon have time to myself again, but I currently do not. When it is in my power to post, I will, so please be patient with me.

EDIT:: I made a pretty simple sketch of this picture today. I'm going to re-draw it in a little more detail before I scan it. I'll attempt that tomorrow. "Dark" is turning into a self-portrait, which will be cool because I look very different from my other self portrait now that I've cut and dyed my hair.

I'm really not impressed with my first post to my profile, and I haven't taken the needed pictures for one of my projects. I guess I'm being too much of a perfectionist. I'm really sorry for that. I am trying to challenge myself a little bit more and get things to look better than my usual half-assed/half-hour projects, but I need to get it through my head that productivity is just as important.

Well, now I have a goal. I want to make another post by the end of this month. If it's not my original design, it doesn't really matter. I am going to try to do the 100 Themes in order as much as I can, but I'm not going to be waiting around for the perfect moment anymore if it's keeping me from other projects I'm planning.

At the moment, it is REALLY late and past my bedtime, so I will start work tomorrow on #4, which is "Dark", in the morning. I'm hoping to draw up a sketch and then use a tutorial I found on dA to recreate it using Adobe Illustrator C3. Because it's entirely new to me, this WILL take a few days, if not the rest of the month, to complete. I'll still try to post before June 1st, though.
