Story time!!

There's this guinea bird at my house that was hatched by a chicken instead of her own guinea mother. For a while, the guinea followed the chicken around, but one day, the chicken disappeared (presumably to be a coyote's dinner), and the guinea had to find a new mother. What she found instead was a rooster. But this guinea, she wasn't picky. So the rooster became the guinea's new foster mom. She watched what the rooster did, and she learned from it. She grew to adulthood under the guidance of the rooster.

The other day, I saw the rooster run and jump atop a chicken to have, er, an intimate moment. Luckily, the guinea had watched the rooster all her life; she had seen him and the other roosters fighting over chickens and jumping on their backs, so she knew exactly what to do. She ran to the rooster and hen, pushed the rooster off the hen, and jumped on the chicken's back herself! And just sat there.

She had the general idea, at least. She was just, you know, the wrong... gender... and species...

And this is the reason I shouldn't tell stories.
