I finally worked out what was wrong with my camera today.

What I originally thought was that there was a fuse in the camera, which would have been a major pain to get fixed, turned out to be something quite simple. Where the battery door for the camera was missing, it pushes a little switch down normally, that enables the camera to turn on as a safety feature. So I have made a makeshift battery door for the meanwhile until I buy a replacement part at the end of the month.

With the snow like it is in Brighton at the moment, I should make the effort to get a load of photos.

It's been a while since I did many photos, so it'll be fun to get back into it again. I've been a bit bored without my camera.

Today I received my new lens: Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 . First contact is 'wow' because lens is plastic but mount is metal. What else, the focus ring is amazing and looks great for me, of course for that money

I'm getting a new camera soon, so I'm holding off on my photography for a little while.

This is the camera: Olympus E-420.

I already have three lenses from my mother's Yashica film SLR, so I just need to get the lens adapter and I'll be set. I'm supposed to be ordering the camera and the adapter on Wednesday. To be honest, I'm kind of excited~. It'll be my first SLR that's completely mine~.

Hello you Articians!

Finally I've pushed my boyfriend to buy me a new camera, seeing he actually killed my normal DSLR. I'm the proud mother of a new Nikon D60 with a 18-55 mm lens and a 50-200 mm lens, which makes me a very happy puppy. I have already been playing with it and the results are still in progress at the moment, although I uploaded one on devART already, it's called Tavern of Friendship. So if you want to take a look, go there .

It's not the best picture in the world, but then again... It could be worse than this one as well, really.

That was that for the moment, gotta get back to my homework... Duty calls and stuff...
