So right before the semester ended, we had a huge project due to create our own webpage layout with working links and everything. I made this one with some nice brushes I downloaded *the flowers, grass, and vines* The rest is from scratch. I might use this later on when I get my own website for my art. ^.^

Hi guys this is my work hope u all like this

This was the final project in my Fine Arts uni design course some years ago (7 years ago already. How time flies... ). We were asked to make a logo representing ourselves, our interests, our weaknesses and our strengths.
I churned out two logos (actually they resemble more an ex libris... pretty fitting my bookworm self actually), this is the second - and much more playful- one . The other one is here [link]
Put the two logos together and you have a textbook symbol [link] <-- the halves of an entity - message, object, concept... - being broken and then put together again to get the whole... in ancient times it could be a custom allowing selected people (or lovers .
This logo is about my love for Greek-Roman myths ( a human Greek girl in a chiton, an archer-->Apollo and a Cupid) and food. In my childhood one of my fav anime - and one of my main roots for liking mythology at large so much - was a delightful comedy and gag series from Hideo Azuma's manga, Pollon, where most of the characters sported a somehow chibi-fied look. It was an extremely funny series, both for kids and older viewers (gotta love goddess Hera in fishnets and Betty Boop-esque red nightie. And she threw grenades at her oh-so-unfaithful hubby Zeus! Tough woman XD ) .
The curls stylization for the two on the left are a mix between Michelangelo's corkscrew curls in the Sistina chapel frescoes of the Ignudi and Buddha's hairdo. Yum, East+West art crossovers.
In the center, as a medallion of sort [link] a very Italian pizza ftw. The mozzarella letters are my initials btw.
Mythology and Antiquity. On crack. And good food. Life is good .
