The idea behind the UI was to make a slim UI, that is original, and has it's own character.
Few days ago stepped across the Idea and made it be.

I was looking for textures when I found these nice linen textiles, so I started to "sew" them together...

This was the final project in my Fine Arts uni design course some years ago (7 years ago already. How time flies... ). We were asked to make a logo representing ourselves, our interests, our weaknesses and our strengths.
I churned out two logos (actually they resemble more an ex libris... pretty fitting my bookworm self actually), this is the first and SRS BSNSS one ( I did both a white bg and black bg version), while the other was more playful [link] Put them together and you have a textbook symbol [link] <-- the halves of an entity - message, object, concept... - being broken and then put together again to get the whole... in ancient times it could be a custom allowing selected people (or lovers
Laurel: a bit of ambition XD.
The stars in the black sky: the things you wish to reach/achieve although sometimes they seem unattainable and beyond your abilities.
The winged being: the need to spread your wings and reach those stars right behind you. Do not close your eyes, do not cage yourself in melancholy (resist the Paint It Black XD) , do not let other people and yourself imprison you.
Why I picked a male? Male nudes ftw .


It's a motivational logo for my emo side, you could say .

Daniel Herrington
Daniel Herrington is a 22-year-old up-and-coming American Indy Lights driver from North Carolina. He has competed in 13 Firestone Indy Lights Series races and posted seven top-10 finishes. In 2008, Herrington competed in eight Indy Lights races with Michael Crawford Racing (4 starts) and RLR Andersen Racing (4 starts). He hopes to build on those experiences under the tutelage of team owner Bryan Herta.

Osage
Osage Band originally was named Within Three. Towards the end of our eighth grade year we were officially a band. We then changed the name to Osage, in honor of the street that I (Jon Michael) grew up on. Our first rehearsal was on my deck upstairs next to a horrible smelling trash can. It was then, that not only we completed our first song (Break the World) but we realized we would be doing this for the rest of our lives. Our first performance was October 23, 2007 at a private birthday party in Denton, Texas. Our first venue performance was May 6, 2008 at Fat Daddys in Lewisville, Texas. We began recording at Reeltime Audio Studio October 6, 2008 and completed the recording of our first album Summer of 2009. First cd released March 11, 2010.
