Jul 31, 2008 Southbridge Chipset Fried on my Ubuntu Server Yeah... it happened out of no where.. Machine wouldn't start, and had an orange power light instead of green, opened the case, removed and re-placed some parts to guess and check. Then examined the motherboard, the outcome is below...
